2010 Grammy Nominations

The list of nominees for Grammy awards was released earlier.

Beyonce receives 10 nods, whereas Taylor Swift receives eight and Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas and Maxwell receive six. Jay-Z is not too far behind, with five nominations, seeing that Blueprint 3 was not in any category due to the cutoff date of August 31st.

As far as rap nominations, Kanye West leads the pack, as he should, with six nods.

No Rap in the Album of the Year, Best New Artist, or Record of the Year categories, which is quite surprising.

Sidebar: Flo-Rida being nominated for Best Rap Album is absolutely ridiculous. Also, Drake receiving 3 nominations is quite impressive, seeing that he does not even have an album out as of yet.
